The Director’s Guild has spoken and they’ve picked Kathryn Bigelow as the best director of the year for her movie ‘The Hurt Locker’ – the first woman to win the award ever!
Her competition?  Her ex-husband James Cameron!
This puts Bigelow at the top of the list to pick up an Oscar for her work in March [...]

‘Avatar’ is now officially the highest grossing film of all time worldwide with almost $1.9 billion in the bank — and it hasn’t stopped yet!
On Monday, James Cameron’s behemoth “Avatar” entered the record books, passing Cameron’s pervious movie, much loved ‘Titanic’, which made $1.842 billion back in 1998.
